ABOUT US
Owner Michael Ambroszewski has been designing, building, and repairing drums and percussion instruments for over 35 years. During those years, he has gained a unique knowledge of the acoustical and technical properties of drums and percussion. He has an expert understanding of how depth, diameter, shell material, hoop material, bearing edges, snare beds, heads, and snares all affect the sound of a drum. As the designer of many percussion products, Michael was granted a patent for one of his inventions, stikcaps removable drumstick mallets.

As a drummer and percussionist, Michael performs throughout New England with a variety of ensembles encompassing musical theatre, classical, and jazz. He has toured with the National Tours of Annie, Cats, and Les Miserables, performing throughout the United States and Canada. Michael has performed with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Regis Philbin, and Bernadette Peters. He brings his extensive experience as a musician to his work at PTech. Combining practical experience and technical knowledge, Michael's designs and repairs offer unique features and are of the highest quality, enabling musicians to sound and perform their best.
